A Tuscan affair on NPR. . .

When NPR reporter Daniel Zwerdling interviewed Sara and me in New York about a year and a half ago, we spent the better part of a day with him, expecting his mother-daughter piece would be up for Mother’s Day. Time passed, however, and many incidents, some good, some bad, intervened. When the piece finally ran last week on Liane Hansen’s Sunday Morning Edition, it was amazing to me to see how a skilled reporter could distill all that verbiage into a very telling six-minute story. Here’s the link, so you can check it out for yourself: http://www.npr.org/2011/01/16/132910357/familys-move-to-tuscany-shapes-daughters-menu

Note that the recipe for that delicious pasta is also on the NPR web site.
